Can recommend for a weekend trip

Charming hotel, friendly staff, the food at BonTon was delicious and the included breakfast was only served for a limited time, which made us wish it was earlier so we could enjoy it every morning.

Nothing could have been better.

The decor in the hotel was truly charming and made us feel like we were stepping back in time, yet

the room felt a bit cramped for our family. We loved the antique furnishings and the atmosphere. However, the breakfast hours were too early for us, and we missed it on the second day, which was disappointing.

During my stay, I loved how close the hot springs were, just a short 5-minute walk away, and I enjoyed relaxing at the nearby Rotary Park, only a minute from my room, where I could take in the beautiful views and tranquility after a day of exploring.

Staying at St Elmo in Ouray was a memorable experience. The location couldn’t be better, right on the main street with convenient access to shops and restaurants. The staff greeted us warmly during check-in, making the experience smooth even when we arrived late. Our room, the Colorado Suite, was spacious and well-equipped with a kitchenette and a fantastic steam shower. The decor felt thoughtfully curated, giving a vintage vibe that resonated with the hotel’s history. Breakfast each morning exceeded my expectations, with a delicious variety of options that kept us fueled for our adventurous days. Unwinding in the outdoor hot tub while listening to the soothing sounds of the nearby stream was a highlight of our stay. However, I faced a couple of minor inconveniences. The air conditioning could be quite loud, and there wasn't a lift, which made carrying luggage to our second-floor room a bit challenging. It would be great if they offered more seating during breakfast, as we had to wait a bit for a table on one occasion. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel for its charm, location, and attentive staff, but a few improvements could elevate the experience even further.

It was just a good match for a mini-break over the weekend in Ouray with best value. The breakfast was very nice and had a cozy atmosphere. If you like soft beds, book a room on the second floor.

The room was super comfy with period furniture and a private bathroom. Enjoyed the hot tub, perfect for relaxing after a long day. Breakfast included yummy pastries and fresh juices. It’s located on Main Street, so you can easily walk to shops and attractions. The restaurant downstairs serves great Italian food, too!

I really enjoyed my stay at this vintage hotel! The location on Main Street made it easy to explore the charming town of Ouray, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The hot tub was a perfect way to unwind after a long day on the trails. However, I found the bathroom a bit cramped and could have used more space.
